| My friend Sharon
and I spent one night in one of your yurts on, I think, Feb. 18. I loved the yurt, the night,
and Bandit. Your land is beautiful and reminded me much of the twenty acres I live on
here in west Michigan, although more mountainous and resplendent with those wonderful
rhodos. I cannot stop thinking about N.C.--especially the Sylva area. I have been
searching for "my place" for some time and nothing has touched such a deep chord within
me as your place and the surrounding area. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for allowing Sharon
and I to spend the night on such short notice. I know I will return. |

| I stayed in your
white pine yurt last August. I enjoyed the
trails, the beach down the way, and the yurt so much. After making a
campfire at night, the underlit leaves on the trees seemed to create a
canopy against the sky. It was so beautiful. I had to walk up the path to
see the stars. Also, I was really surprised by the lack of bugs, too!
Thank goodness for bats and locusts. You've really created an oasis in an
otherwise crazed world. I was very sad to leave. |

| As always we
enjoyed our stay in your world. The Yurts are the perfect
get away for anyone who wants to just get away from everything. I am
able to relax and go back to work afterwards with a clear head. Words
can't describe the pleasure this will bring into anyone who is looking
for the great escape from the daily grind.

| Thank You. This place
and the spirit you bring to it are a gift. The mountain, the woods, the wildflowers, hawks,
birdsong and chorusing frogs all worked their magic. We desperately needed a retreat, time
to let our souls catch up with us... and we're leaving renewed and refreshed. Thank you for
the grace and graciousness with which you accomodated us and the vision you hold of life
lived in harmony with nature.

prefers cabins and I prefer tent camping, so the yurt was a perfect compromise.
The land is very beautiful with excellent hiking opportunities. It is also
an excellent location with lots of vacation options in the surrounding
areas. Our hosts were very friendly, interesting and helpful. We had a
wonderful experience. |

Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain with us. The land, yurt and
time spent here was a much needed rest period for us. Thank you also for
providing a space full of nature and beauty.

and I talk about our two days at the yurts all the time. We were there
at perhaps the peak weekend last fall. To us this was trully getting away
from it all. No phones and no cares; just plain relaxing in the woods.
We really don't want to praise "Natures Home" too much because we're afraid
too many people will find out about it and then it won't be available when
we want to visit. (just kidding) This should be an experience everyone
should have once in their lifetime at least. We looking forward to seeing
Nature's Home again in the near future. |
